Brothers and sisters in Christ,

At long last, we are quickly approaching the joyous time of togetherness that we call the session of annual conference! I want to spend some time sharing with you the deeper dive on how we arrived at this year's theme, "The Journey Continues Together" and why it's so timely and powerful to this current season. This year's theme is grounded in Matthew 26:17-30, and I want to point out that this is not so much 'something new,' because in all actuality, it is the continuation and connecting of the journey we've been on since 2013.
