Reflections: Self-reflection on Discipleship

9/23/2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 23, 2021

Friends,

It is ever so important as we face the ever-increasing frequency of wars and rumors of wars, economic collapses, extreme flooding, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes and other disasters—all in the middle of a global pandemic, that we remember to focus our gifts and time on the task at hand, and that is making disciples. Just as the prophets proclaimed and Jesus forewarned His disciples that all these things would happen before we reached the end of the age and His return—we are seeing Scripture unfold before our eyes everyday. I’m grateful for your salvation and I want you to focus on saving others.

Click on the image below, watch this video and join me today in reserving some quiet time to reflect on what insights and direction God’s word can offer us.

‘Reflections,' a vlog set to air every two weeks, is an opportunity to commit to regular devotion and discernment on how we can grow as disciples.

In the future, you can also view past episodes on the conference website at mississippi-umc.org/reflections.
