MRLC Peace and Reconciliation Service

As the darkness of the season gets greater, we witness violence all across our globe growing. The Mississippi Religious Leadership Conference (MRLC) will hold a Peace and Reconciliation service Sunday, December 6 at 5:00 p.m. at Fondren Presbyterian Church. Attendees will sing together, pray together and hear from multiple traditions about the light we all must bring to the world. Please pass this along to anyone who would like to attend. The purpose is to pray as if all earth is dependent upon God for peace and reconciliation and lead people to action as if all depended upon us to rid the earth of war, poverty, fear  and bigotry-be it national, religious or racial.  Afterwards there will be a fellowship time so we can get to know one another and reflect upon what those participating can do. The service should last about an hour.
