Jesus can always show me the way home

A Stream of Faith

“The Lord is my light and my salvation, so why should I be afraid?
The Lord protects me from danger, so why should I tremble?” — Psalm 27:1

Have you ever dreamed that you couldn’t find your way home? I believe that would be a scary feeling. It would feel bad not knowing your way and having no one to help you find your way. I believe this feeling would show us how important the way home is and which way we need to go. I know that Jesus Christ will show us the way and help us find our way. This is where we could use some help, and Jesus Christ is willing to help us by showing us the way.

I believe that everyone has had the feeling of not knowing what to do or which way to turn. We just don't know how to get where we belong, but we can call on Jesus Christ to help us find our way. Psalm 27 is a great way to get started on our own way. Jesus Christ knows where we are and wants us to follow him as he guides us on our way. If we want him to guide us, we must be willing to follow him. If we put our faith in him, he will show us the way. Not only will he lead us on our way, he will carry us by his faithful hand.

God has given us a way home to be with him forever. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we could live and accept the gift of everlasting life. All we need to do is ask him, invite him into our lives and let him take care of us. Everyone who asks has a home with him. It is up to us to ask.

We have so much to be thankful for and it didn't cost us anything. However, it cost Jesus Christ going the cross and being nailed by the hands and feet. He suffered so that we wouldn't have to go through it ourselves. Sometimes I find myself thinking about what a gift he gave us.

Jesus Christ wants to show us the way home. We need to know Jesus Christ as our lord and savior. We need to accept his gift of life, because it's a lifetime of grace. Everyone needs to seek his gift of salvation.

Do you know the way to salvation today? Jesus is waiting to show us the way home.

So, what's your decision? Are you waiting? He's waiting to hear from you. Time is moving, but he's waiting.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for making us a path to show us the way home. We fail you, but you still care, and all we have to do is wait on your love and kindness. Help us on our daily walk. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
