Six Weeks Raisin Bran Muffins

1 15 oz. box Raisin Bran flakes
3 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. salad oil (Crisco)
1 c. pecans, chopped

Mix cereal, sugar, flour, nuts, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. Stir in eggs, oil, and buttermilk. Store in large covered container in refrigerator. Do not stir again until ready to bake. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake in 400-degree oven for 15-20 min. Makes 6-8 dozen. This batter will last six weeks.
