Fannie Irene L. Havens, clergy spouse


BILOXI -- Fannie Irene Lott Havens, 86, died April 17, 2008, in Ocean Springs.

Services were held April 19 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi with burial in the George Byrd Cemetery north of Vancleave.

Mrs. Havens was born May 22, 1921, in Ramsay Springs to the late Oscar D. and Julia Whittington Lott. She was dedicated to her family, friends and her church. She was a member of Leggett Memorial United Methodist Church in Biloxi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jepeth Lott of Ramsay Springs and Curtis Lott of Stone County, sisters Margaret Lott Hickman of Pascagoula and Ernestine Lott Endris of Biloxi and her husband the Rev. Lyman Eugene (Gene) Havens Jr., a clergy member of  the Mississippi Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:  sons Thomas R. Havens of Vanc1eave and Lyman Eugene (Gene) Havens III of Ocean Springs.; daughter Cheryl Ann Knitter of Vancleave; sister Eunice Lott Davis of Poplarville; brother Morgan Lott of Hattiesburg and a granddaughter.
