Sunday Dinner


1 one-half to 1 three-fourths-inch thick chuck roast
4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
4 medium carrots, scraped and cut into chunks
4 medium onions, peeled and diced
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can cut green beans
Salt and pepper to taste
Line baking dish with aluminum foil; place roast and vegetables. Sprinkle with onion soup mix, salt and pepper. Pour can of green beans and liquid over roast. Seal foil. Set oven at 325 degrees; go to Sunday school. Stay for church. It will be ready when you get home. Serves four.
