Baddour Center names Dunn to directorship

Karen Dunn has been named the director of development and public relations for The Baddour Center, a residential community for adults with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities. She assumed her duties on May 6.

Dunn, who lives in Enid, is no stranger to the center. She served as public relations manager and grant writer there for two years prior to her promotion.

“We are excited that Karen has accepted the position,” said Parke Pepper, executive director of The Baddour Center.

“She brings to the job an excellent work ethic and solid communication skills along with many new ideas, which should enable to us to do some things differently development-wise.”

Prior to joining The Baddour Center, Dunn served as editor of The Panolian, a community newspaper in Batesville.
