Kosciusko presents Easter drama

Kosciusko First United Methodist Church will present for the 22nd consecutive year the passion play "His Last Days" on the three nights prior to Easter.

This outdoor drama, written by the Rev. Charles C. Wiggers, is a portrayal of the life of Jesus during his last days, including his trial, crucifixion and resurrection. The majority of the performers are members of the Kosciusko First United Methodist Church.

The performance will be held at 8 p.m. April 5, 6 and 7. The setting will be at the front and side areas of the two buildings of the church on East Washington and North Natchez streets just off the northeast corner of the square in Kosciusko.

Since no seating will be provided, spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or other light, movable seats in order that they may move along the area with the drama. The audience becomes the throng following the evolving events while the actors re-enact the final days of Jesus' life.

There is no admission charge. The length of the performance is one hour.  A nursery will be provided.
