Mary Floyd, retired bookkeeper


LOUISVILLE — Mary Floyd, 78, a retired bookkeeper, died Oct. 17, 2006, at her son’s home in Louisville.


Funeral services were held Oct. 20 at First Pentecostal Church in Jackson. The Rev. T.L. Craft officiated. Burial followed in Edwards Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Floyd was the mother of the Rev. Larry Haggard of Louisville, a clergy member of the Mississippi Conference.


A native of Marion County, Mrs. Floyd was a bookkeeper for 40 years at St. Dominic Hospital. She was also a member of First Pentecostal Church of Jackson.


Other survivors include: daughters, Louise Roard of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Ann Minton of Jackson; sisters, Nancy McCraw and Tommie James, both of Jackson; brother, John Saucier of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
