Leola Trigg Baker, 69, died May 6, 2006 in Savannah, Ga.

Services were held May 13 at Central United Methodist Church in Jackson with burial in Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker was the widow of the Rev. John Leland Baker, a pastor in the Mississippi Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Baker was born Dec. 15, 1936, in Rankin County to the late Magnolia Seaton. She was reared by the Rev. Sylvester V. and Hattie Lee Trigg of Brandon.

After graduating from college, Mrs. Baker married MeHenry Jones of Greenwood. She was later married in 1964 to the late Rev. Baker of Wiggins.

Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Trigg, and a grandchild.

Survivors include: daughters, Oreler Renae Baker, Sandra Faye Baker Wilson, Yolanda Yvette Baker Cobb and Teheara Shuntae Baker; son, John Lee Baker, Jr.; brother, Marion Seaton; and seven grandchildren.
