FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 30, 2023
Clergy,
The Art of WellBeing, a covenant community designed to support clergy excellence through attention to wellbeing, is partnering with the Mississippi Annual Conference Office of Spiritual Leadership, and the Center for Ministry at Millsaps College. The community invites clergy to commit to simple, practical ways to cultivate positive energy, resilience and creativity for adaptive and innovative leadership.
The online collective utilizes a “coach approach” process in which clergy will be guided to generate self-awareness and clarity about all dimensions of their wellbeing: spiritual, emotional, mental, creative, physical and relational. Each session consists of intentional conversation grounded in participants’ pre-session reflection, and each session will end with a small step action plan which includes accountability. Previous participants have reported that group coaching conversations fostered productive and meaningful outcomes in their energy, creativity, enjoyment and effectiveness as a leader.
