Attend District Realignment Webinar April 20

Clergy and laity,

As we, the Mississippi Annual Conference look to our future, we want to ensure that we are efficient and effective with all of our resources while entrusting the fulfillment of our mission to make disciples to local churches.

District realignment will empower districts and churches. In the past several years we have experienced a global pandemic, drastic shifts in our tools for communication, redistribution of population and economic centers and church closures and disaffiliations. It’s time to reorient our districts to these new realities so that our churches and people can faithfully share the good news of Jesus in their communities.

With this in mind, the Mississippi Conference District Realignment Task Force will conduct a webinar Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. to receive comments and address questions for clarifying purposes. All clergy and laity are asked to participate.
