TODAY: Columbia Strong on SuperTalk Mississippi FM


SuperTalk FM is collecting donations for Columbia Strong, an organization led by community leaders who volunteered to help the Columbia community recover from the devastating tornado of December 23, 2014. Its mission is to restore community and rebuild lives.

The 12-hour radiothon is broadcasting live from First Southern Bank in Columbia, Mississippi. All three major talk shows, The Gallo Radio Show, The JT Show and Head to Head with Matt Wyatt and Richard Cross will be informing you of the urgent situation for the people of Columbia.

Rev. Selber McShepard, pastor of New Zion United Methodist Church in Columbia and Mississippi Conference disaster response team member shares how the disaster response arm of the Mississippi Conference trained several case workers and how the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) provided much assistance.
