We are facing one of the most critical moves in the next iteration of the online worship experience. As we move back into our buildings, we mustn’t return to making people at home observers after talking to them for so long. We want to consider how we can create worship for two audiences at the same time – those who are in the pews and those who are on their couches. How do we keep both audiences engaged so that neither one feels left out?
While the pandemic led many churches to embrace some basic online broadcasting, creating transformative worship experiences for both in-person and online audiences requires a robust theology of worship and understanding of the mediums.
The Faith Community Formation Office of the Mississippi Annual Conference and Midnight Oil Productions invite you to join Jason Moore's Both/And: Maximizing Hybrid Worship Experience for Online and In-Person Audiences, Thursday, Sept. 30, 6-8:30 pm and the follow-up session, scheduled Thursday, October 28, 2021, 6-7 pm, as he delves into strategies on creating powerful transformative worship where no one feels like they are an afterthought.
