Clergy Session

In order to allow all status and membership changes to take effect prior to moving day and the change in appointments, the Clergy Executive Session will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10AM until 3PM.  This will be a Hybrid Session allowing for members to choose to participate virtually through ZOOM Webinar or in person at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson.  

• Registration will be required to participate in either format. 
• Virtual voting will be handled through the webinar polling feature as was done last year. 
• For those who gather in person, the Board of Ordained Ministry will be providing lunch.  The Session will continue to vote only on those measures that require an actual vote.  
• As usual, the Business of the Annual Conference document will be securely released the week before. 
• The morning session will include a special time of worship honoring those who are retiring, as well as those who are entering into either commissioned or ordained ministry. 
•  The afternoon session will include a special Remembrance of the Saints.

More information, including links for registration and a detailed agenda will be released after the first of the year.  All in person plans will, of course, be subject to safety protocols at the time.
