First United Methodist Church of Marietta is seeking a full-time Youth Director

First United Methodist Church of Marietta is seeking a full-time Youth Director to create and implement our ministry programs for students in grades 6-12. The Director will develop a plan, grounded in Methodist theology, which brings together the youth, staff, youth families and volunteers. The Mission of Marietta FUMC is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world - and the Youth Director will create curriculum and spaces for students to encounter Christ and respond with their lives.

The Director will also support students' activities at their schools and in the community. This leader must have a contagious spirit for retaining and attracting participants and keep them engaged through activities, the Youth website and social media channels.

The Director must exhibit strong teamwork skills both within the program and with the church clergy, staff and congregations. Must also have the ability to plan and manage schedules and budgets.
