Day 9 - Pauses for Lent - Ask

3/15/2019

"ASK AND IT WILL BE GIVEN YOU"

WE WHO HAVE HIS SPIRIT WILL RECEIVE THIS TEACHING AS A DISCIPLINE FOR THIS SEASON OF LENT AS WELL AS FOR LIFE'S JOURNEY.

WE COME WITH HUMILITY AS WE APPROACH GOD WHO IS ABLE TO ANSWER OUR PRAYERS ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, PURPOSE AND PLAN. APPROACHING GOD WITH UTMOST RESPECT, ASKING HIS WILL BE DONE. GOD'S TIMING IS IS NOT OUR TIMING. DARE NOT GROW WEARY, PRAYING WITHOUT CEASING. HIS CONTROL IS OVER EVERYTHING.

HUMILITY IS KEY BECAUSE WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL, BUT BY ASKING AND RECEIVING IN THIS WAY WE LEARN TO TRUST AND SURRENDER ALL TO GOD, KNOWING IN OUR MIND THAT GOD IS ALWAYS THERE.

IN COMMUNITY AS WE OPEN UP AND TRUST GOD AS OUR SUPREME SOURCE WE LEARN HUMILITY, DISCOVER OUR INTERDEPENDENCE, AND ALLOW OTHERS AND GOD TO SHOW THEIR CARE FOR US.

AS WE STRENGTHEN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD OUR CONDUCT TOWARD OTHERS WILL REFLECT HIS CHARACTER. WE WILL HAVE BECAUSE WE ASK AND DILIGENTLY SEEK THE MASTER TEACHER.
