Join Mission Mississippi in Prayer Time Aug. 18 (Tomorrow)

The City of Tupelo will be the first "host" city for a 12-month prayer journey.  
 
On Thursday, Aug. 18, from 6 a.m.- 9 a.m. Mission Mississippi is inviting everyone to join Tupelo in a collective time of focused prayer.  Wherever you are on that day, take a few moments to pray during the designated times.
 
In Tupelo, Whitehill Missionary Baptist Church will be open for prayer.  
 
Mission Mississippi offers the greatest hope to attain racial healing and reconciliation through the body of Christ and unconditional love.  
 
Additional prayer opportunities will be:
Aug. 27 - Inherit Movement Prayer Time 

  • 9 a.m. for Hinds County at New Horizon Church International, 1770 Ellis Avenue, Jackson
  • 10:30 a.m. for Rankin County, Meadow Grove Baptist church, 3221 Louis Wilson Drive, Brandon
  • Noon for Madison County at Love and Unity Church of God, LaQuinta Inn, 152 Soldier Colony Road, Canton
Oct. 15 - Inherit Movement Closing Ceremony Prayer Time
  • 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Broadmoor Baptist Church, Madison
