Conference Welcomes Summer Interns

Marquice Hobbs and Jessica Love have several common experiences. Both of them accepted Christ at a young age as members of United Methodist congregations. While attending college, both of them were active in their respective campus ministries and also served on the student government association. Recently, they were welcomed as interns with the Mississippi Conference.
 
Hobbs is an intern under Bishop James Swanson, Sr. in the episcopal office. He is a native of Houston, Texas and is a student at Candler School of Theology located in Atlanta, Georgia. He was also a delegate to the 2016 General Conference. Love is an intern in the conference communications office. She is from Camden, Mississippi, a graduate of Rust College, and currently enrolled in a master's program at the University of Mississippi. Love is also an ambassador for the United Methodist Black College Fund.

Hobbs and Love will end their internships at the end of July.
