The Methodist Children's Homes invites you to attend the 3rd Annual Day of Hope, a community day on campus. Join them on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. as they celebrate the hope that has been restored in the children through the faithful members of the Methodist churches across Mississippi.
The Day of Hope is so much more than a "day," and the outcome can be life changing. This one day makes a ripple effect for everyone involved. For Kristi, this one day gave her a forever home. Last year at the Day of Hope, she met the Parker family while giving them a tour of her home. The Parker's fell in love with her and began the foster care training program through MCH. A few months later, Kristi moved in with them, began a new school and met new friends. For Kristi this one day gave her a new chance at life, and hope for the future. The Day of Hope gave Kristi a forever family.
Children come to MCH hurt and hopeless, but by the time they leave MCH's care, they are on the road to healing, and most importantly, they have hope for a bright future. It is because of people like you, that all of this is possible. You are bringing hope to MCH. Witness first-hand how God is using people in the lives of these children and the campus.
Gather a large group, and celebrate the Day of Hope! Churches, church organizations, Sunday school classes, and members of the community are welcome! Come and tour the homes and campus, meet the children, enjoy a BBQ lunch, participate in a live auction (with amazing items to bid on) and learn more about bringing Hope to Hurting children in Mississippi.
