Charleston United Methodist Church Celebrates One of Their Own

The Charleston United Methodist Church is happy to announce

Maura McIntosh, Courtesy "Metro Christian Living Magazine"

that Maura McIntosh Field, daughter of the Rev. David and Rosemary McIntosh of Madison, will present a concert at the church on Sunday, October, 27 at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited and welcomed to attend.

McIntosh Field became a singer/songwriter while a student at Meridian High School and continued on until she graduated from Millsaps College.  While in college, Field began recording in studios in Mississippi such as Malaco in Jackson, Taproot in Oxford and Reflections in Nashville.

She taught Kindergarten through second grade public school music for many years in Pontotoc City School district.  Three years ago, she began a full-time music ministry and now travels to sing and share her faith in church settings, women's events, retreats, revivals, family and children events and early elementary schools.

Her songs are a collection of originals and familiar old hymns that tell of her journey as she seeks God's direction and experiences His love. Field is well known in this area for her involvement in the Walk to Emmaus weekends.  She is in great demand as a singer and guitarist.

A love offering will be received as this is now life work for Field.  Please come and be prepared to be blessed by her music and testimony and support her work of love for the Lord.
