2010 Report on Giving of Conference Funding Plan

2010 was a banner year for extravagant generosity in the Mississippi Conference. Our 1107 churches gave $18,668,048 in support of the Funding Plan of the Annual Conference. Mission Shares increased 2.16% over 2009 to 79.43%. Clergy Pension Benefit was supported at 96.83%. Adding the two together, the funding plan of the Annual Conference rose to 83.88%, an increase of over 5% from 2009.
The 1107 churches increased their second mile giving by 206% to $1,097,419. The General Church support of mission and ministry rose by 12.32% of the 2009 giving to 72.48%.

The 2010 Annual Conference defined a 100% Funding Plan Church (both the Clergy Pension Benefits and every line item of the Mission Shares in full). We give thanks to and for those 529 churches who achieved that goal. Click below to see the full list by District.

Increased Mission Shares Over 2009
