Congregations for Children
Mission
To promote preventative, cost-effective, non-punitive policies and programs in the following areas: child care, maternal and child health, welfare reform, juvenile justice, and education, in order to meet the needs of children living in poverty in Mississippi.
Gather data, provide resources, and educate Mississippians regarding the realities of life for children in Mississippi.
Provide assistance and support to congregations to build an effective child advocacy network of faith communities and concerned individuals.
