Thanks to the Methodist Churches, the Garrison House is Now Renovated

By Robyn Burchfield
Proverbs 16:3 tells us to, "commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."   That is exactly what the men and women of the Methodist churches all across the state did when they heard the need to renovate the Garrison House on the Methodist Children's Homes campus. It is because of the devoted, loyal people of the Methodist churches that MCH was able to completely renovate the Garrison House. Hundreds of men and women were committed to praying, giving financially or volunteering their time over these past six months.
Now, the work is complete, and 10 beautiful young ladies will have a safe place to rest their heads at night. These young ladies will find refuge in knowing that people who support the Methodist Children's Homes love and care for them. Methodists have been the hands and feet of God over these past couple of months, and now the reward is evident. They have provided a place for these girls to call home.
MCH is inviting Methodists to join them in celebrating the Garrison Open House on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. The dedication ceremony will begin at 12:00 p.m., with come and go tours from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. For more information, contact Robyn Burchfield at 601.853.5000 ext. 1233 or
