With each new year comes a time of reflection and intentionality. The communications staff wants to be faithful stewards of your time and resources. In a culture of information overload, we want to live differently in the Mississippi United Methodist Church. How do we get information to you but not overwhelm you with information? We have made a decision to change the rhythm of the present distribution of the Mississippi Annual Conference electronic newsletter, The Circuit Rider. The Circuit Rider will be delivered to email subscribers every other week beginning Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
The move from a weekly distribution will allow more time for the communications team to work closer with the districts in their efforts to provide communications resources to the local church. This bi-weekly distribution is an intentional response on our part to honor your time and give you the inspiration and information needed to live into our core values of love, generosity, justice and apprenticeship. The POWER of We takes us into 2014 with new rhythms because of reflection and intentionality.
The deadline for submissions to The Circuit Rider will remain at noon on the Monday before the publication goes out on Wednesday. The next deadline is Monday, January 6. Submit your news email@example.com.
