Board seeks ethnic young adult interns


WASHINGTON (UMNS) — A Jan. 10 application deadline is looming for the nine-week 2011 Ethnic Young Adult Summer Internship in Washington, sponsored by the United Methodist Board of Church and Society.

The program is designed for people ages 18-22 who have an interest in exploring issues of public policy, social justice advocacy and social change, and who represent one of the five ethnic minority caucuses of The United Methodist Church: Native Americans, Pacific-Islanders, Hispanic/Latinos, African Americans and Asian Americans.
