Methodist Rehab Center thanks church

Methodist Rehabilitation Center recently presented a framed plaque to trustees of Epworth United Methodist Church.

The plaque, which will be on display near Methodist Rehab’s chapel, honors the church for a $55,000 gift to the hospital. The gift was a loving, closing chapter to Epworth’s 55 year ministry on McDowell Road in south Jackson. The church building is now the south campus of Anderson United Methodist Church.

“The Christian witness of Epworth’s members lives on through generous gifts to other United Methodist affiliated ministries, including Methodist Rehab Center,” said Chris Blount, director of the Wilson Research Foundation at Methodist Rehab. “This gift will help our patients recover abilities and hope.”
