Felder United Methodist Church held a “Fill Your Heart with the Spirit” 5K walk-run and 1-mile fun run April 18, to raise funds for the Stop Hunger Now project.

Stop Hunger Now is an international organization that coordinates the distribution of food and other aid around the world. “They’re opening a warehouse in Jackson because they’ve had so many respond to it,” organizer Tara Mir said.

Felder UMC is located in Pike County near Summit in the Brookhaven District.

People involved in Amazing Pace received 2,500 “healthbux” for the district-sanctioned race.
