Parkway Hills United Methodist Church in Madison is gearing up for its fifth annual SpringFest event and the kickoff of a month-long celebration commemorating Earth Day.
SpringFest will be held from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. April 4, and the day’s line-up of activities will feature music, art, kids’ activities, food and fellowship. More than 1,200 community members attended last year’s event.
The outdoor festival will feature the sounds of Chris Gill and the Sole Shakers and gospel music artist, Cynthia Palmer, along with other local acts. More than 25 local artisans and members of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi will display and sell their work at this juried event. Food will be served to raise funds for the Parkway Hills youth, and fun children’s entertainment including games, space jumps and face painting will be offered.
Parkway Hills United Methodist Church is located at 1468 Highland Colony Parkway, across from Madison Central High School. The event is free and is open to the public.
