“Remembering Who We Are: Seeking New Pathways” is the theme for the 125th Founders’ Day Celebration for Gammon Theological Seminary, one of 13 seminaries affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
Gammon is the United Methodist seminary member of the consortium, The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta.
Featured speakers for this year’s celebration are:
• Bishop Violet L. Fisher, worship speaker, 11 a.m. Oct. 7, ITC Chapel, 700 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
• Bishop Gregory V. Palmer, Thirkield-Jones Lecturer, 3 p.m. Oct. 7 and 10 a.m. Oct. 8, Everett Chapel-Gammon Hall, 653 Beckwith St.
• Bishop James R. King, Jr. (right), banquet speaker, 7 p.m. Oct. 7, Atlanta Airport Marriott Hotel.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 7 in Gammon Hall. Registration for the event is $185. This includes the alumni luncheon and banquet ticket. Tickets to the banquet only are $75.
Two Continuing Education Units will be given for participants attending all sessions. The public is invited.
