A Stream Of Faith
By Charles E. Westbrook
“For anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:13
If I had to name a special verse, it would be Romans 10:13, because it tells me that no matter what happens, God is in charge and that everything will be all right. It makes me feel that the Lord is with me and giving me a special life. This verse provides a sense of peace. There are so many people who don’t realize what this verse means and stands for, I fear.
As we live our lives and have a daily walk with Jesus Christ, the more meaningful this verse becomes. We need to learn to trust in Jesus Christ.
What do we do to walk that special walk?
First, we put all our trust in Jesus. He has a lot that we can have, and the only thing we have to do is call on him. If we allow him to walk with us anywhere, he can teach us how to have a faithful walk.
We need to learn to witness and introduce him to those who are non-Christians. Many times we ask what we can do to give ourselves to him. A good witness not only gets out the word, but helps others grow and become stronger in their own walk. That helps us do his will.
Sometimes, we can learn to help other people through reading his word. When we become active in the Word, we learn more about him. As we go with him, we need to carry our cross with us everywhere we go.
Another way we can witness is to pray for each other. We need to pray for our walk. We need each of us to witness and worship him.
So let’s go out and share God with others.
