Charles L. Dunn, attorney
MADISON — Charles Lynwood Dunn, 49, an attorney, died Feb. 8, 2008.
Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at Parkway Hills United Methodist Church in Madison, with a private graveside service following in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Dunn was born on June 7, 1958, in Shelby, and grew up in Duncan. He was a graduate of Bayou Academy, Mississippi College and Emory Law School. Charles was a charter member of Parkway Hills United Methodist Church, active on both the local and conference level. He served on the administrative board at Parkway Hills and was church lay leader and also served as lay leader of the East Jackson District of the Mississippi Conference. He was a member of the Mississippi Conference and had served on the New Church Development committee and was on the board of directors for The Bethlehem Center in Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton D. Dunn Sr.
Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Mathis Dunn; daughters, Courtney and Ann Dunn of Madison; mother, Billye Lynn Dunn of Clarksdale; sister, Jean Dunn of Madison; and brother, Pete Dunn Jr. of Clarksdale.
