Galloway United Methodist Church plans to join the Mississippi Conference in uplifting the initiative of health and wellness.

The goal is for this day to incorporate opportunities for health and wellness education and health and wellness checks such as blood pressure, weight and body mass and heart rate. Also available will be a host of other activities for the church family, visitors and guests such as a fun run/walk/amble and a tot trot. All of the events will incorporate the theme into worship, T-shirts a healthy lunch and other booths, activities and resources.
The mission is to focus on health in mind, body and spirit, and that this day will be a starting place for Galloway to begin to think and live together in its faith community in ways that live out the wholeness of being a Christ follower as they deepen their commitment to health and well being in the Spirit of God.
