Galloway UMC in downtown
Former members of Galloway and friends of the church are invited to attend the Homecoming that includes Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., the traditional 11a.m. worship service, a potluck meal at noon and a 2 p.m. special homecoming concert featuring favorite anthems by the Galloway Chancel Choir.
A nursery will be available and children’s activities are being planned throughout the Homecoming event.
Rev. Dr. Ross Olivier, Galloway’s senior minister, said the “Real Revival will continue at regular worship services until Nov. 25 and will focus on God’s plan to rescue people from living hell in this life and in their eternal destiny. There is a deep ache and longing in the human heart for salvation that heals and transforms broken lives, relationships, communities, and nations. Either the Good News of Jesus works or it’s not worth proclaiming.
“We believe it works when it is properly understood and put into living practice.”
