Annual Conference is just around the corner. Here’s some useful information to keep in mind while making plans to attend.
Resolutions and petitions

Members of Annual Conference and local United Methodists are invited to start the day June 12 by running or walking a 5K (3.1 mile) course around Christ UMC in the third annual Arise! Shine! Run! 5K run/walk. Register by May 15 to ensure you receive a T-shirt.
The arrangements of flowers during Annual Conference enhance worship services and provide an opportunity for congregations and individuals to honor or memorialize friends and family. To ensure information is included in the program that will be distributed during the Memorial Service, submit memorials or honorariums by May 7.

Mantles of praise
Conference members and guests can help make garlands and mantles that will be presented throughout conference in recognition of ministry and outstanding leadership in line with this year’s theme from Isaiah 61, “to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit.” Talented, “crafty” people are needed to help design and create these gifts.
