Berry attends UM Student Forum
Colby Berry attended the United Methodist Student Movement Student Forum 2006 held May 25-28 at Adrian College in Adrian, Mich.
Berry was one of three Wesley Foundation voting delegates selected from colleges across the state.
The Student Forum provides an opportunity for students to voice their concerns within the life and organization of the United Methodist Church. The theme for this year’s conference was “True Disciples Learning to Fish” where the students were involved in mission and service in the community of Adrian, heard from speakers and Bible study leaders and participated in worship and small group discussions.
Berry is a member of Crystal Springs United Methodist Church. During the summer, Berry will be working as a youth intern at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Ark. He will be assisting the minister of youth and family reach out to students by leading UMYF worship, conducting daily youth activities and organizing a praise band.
He will return to Mississippi State University in the fall as a sophomore.
