Marc J. Moore, 44, a computer specialist, died March 25, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tenn.
Services were held March 30 at Shuqualak United Methodist Church with burial at Eaves Cemetery near Shuqualak. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon handled arrangements.
Moore was the son of the Rev. Jesse Moore of Hernando, a clergy member of the Mississippi Conference of The United Methodist Church.
Moore was born in Larochelle, France. He graduated from high school in Redwood Falls, Minn., Rockville Community College in Rockville, Md. and graduate school at the Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C. where he was placed in charge of the computer lab and later managed the graduate school. He was a computer specialist, computer analyst and computer security expert for the IRS in Memphis.
Moore was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and was president of Calyx Hunting Club near Shuqualak. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, reading, listening to music and movies.
Other survivors include: daughter, Amber Moore of Hernando; fiancé, Mary Ann Hale of Hernando; mother, Ann Hupprich Harvey of Canyon City, Colo.; sister, Claire Suzanne Moore of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and maternal grandmother, Leslie Hupprich of Jackson.
