Millsaps students earn honors

Six Millsaps College MBA and business undergraduate students were recently tapped into the Financial Management Association National Honor Society during the Spring 2006 academic tap ceremony on the Millsaps College campus. 

The Millsaps Chapter of the FMA National Honor Society was established in 1984, and it is a part of the FMA Finance Club, an organization open to all with an interest in finance and investments. The Louis Wilson Student Managed Fund is managed by members of the FMA Finance Club.

The undergraduate membership requirements of  the FMA National Honor Society consist of a combination of GPAs of at least 3.25 and 3.25 in three finance concentration courses and overall. The MBA membership requirements of  the FMA National Honor Society consist of a minimum GPA of 3.50 and 3.50 in finance courses and overall, and students must have completed at least half of their required courses.
