PK Retreat - Stepping Out in Faith
As the son and the daughter of Mississippi Methodist preachers, we know the peculiar gifts and difficulties of being preacher's kids. We preacher's kids are born into a way of life that involves regular movement, change, new churches, new communities, new schools, and new friend groups. God has given us a great gift by calling us and our families to step out on faith. But maybe you've watched your own children struggle with the transitions inherent in the life to which God has called us.
Under the leadership of Bishop Ward, the Mississippi Conference has decided that, given the life we share together, there ought to be more support for clergy families and particularly more opportunities for clergy children to find and build relationships and community with one another. To that end, the Conference is sponsoring a PK Retreat in 2012 for preacher's kids ages 10-18.
We are really excited about this and we've been working hard to plan an excellent retreat! We want to invite all preacher's kids age 10-18 to join us for a great time together!

Timing
Registration is from 6 to 7 Friday night.
Pick up between noon and 2 on Sunday.
