Bishops Elect Goodpaster

Meeting in Fort Worth prior to the General Conference, the United Methodist Council of Bishops has chosen a Mississippi native as its president-designate. Bishop Larry M. Goodpaster, leader of the Alabama-West Florida Conference, was unanimously elected to lead the council in two years.

Trustees Appoint New PACT Administrators

The conference Board of Trustees has appointed Gallagher Risk Management Services of Ridgeland as the sole administrators of the conference-wide insurance program, PACT.
