 In a world where we mostly long for more, this lovely book invites us to long for enough. 

In this slim volume, Paul Escamilla opens up the Biblical heartbeat of goodness. Goodnessrather than over-reaching greatness. Goodness resonant in the creation stories of Genesis, goodness of life and work and community and creatureliness. , rooted in a deep sense of God's abundance. "The creaturely person seems to need little and to offer much." 

It is good to explore the idea of enough.

Escamilla is a very good writer. His prose is poetic, his thoughts are lovely while deeply true. He explores the mysteries of God who cherishes us while challenging us.   

I am reading the short chapters, one each day, for 25 days. In doing so, I am being blessed.
